League to extend its age groups next season

March 2019 -- Good news for all our clubs the Wycombe & South Bucks Minor Football League will be extending age groups next season so that you can continue playing in our league after the Under 17 age group. Next season the League will run Under 17 and Under 18 age groups.

It will be run in the same way as the existing league. The emphasis will be on enjoying football and playing in a safe and friendly environment. Teams would be moved if they are not found to be playing in their correct ability level during the season and thus not enjoying the experience. So Under 17's will only play against Under 17's and Under 18's will only play against Under 18's. If a club does not have enough U18 players but does have some U17 players available, then it can field a combined U17 and U18 team playing in the U18 age group. Similarly an Under 17 team may have some Under 16 players.

U17 or U18 teams are eligible to take advantage of our general £40 discount for clubs that affiliate and pay before 31st May.

Existing member clubs

Clubs that are already in the League do not need to apply to join again! Club Secretaries that have signed in can affiliate next season's teams in the normal way through the the "Affiliation" menu item.

New and non-member clubs

If your club is interested in finding out more about applying to play in 2020-2021 season please use the enquiry form on our feeder league, South Bucks Mini Soccer Conference. It does not oblige any of your teams to join the Wycombe and South Bucks Minor Football League at this stage. After enquiring if your club would like to progres then you'll need to make a formal application, attend the AGM in June and get voted in. Clubs that are already in the League do not need to apply to join again! Club Secretaries can sign in and affiliate next season's teams in the normal way and going to the "Affiliation" menu item.
